Garmin’snon-aviationproductsarewarrantedtobefree

fromdefectsinmaterialsorworkmanshipforoneyear

fromthedateofpurchase.Withinthisperiod,Garmin

will,atitssoleoption,repairorreplaceanycomponents

thatfailinnormaluse.Suchrepairsorreplacementwill

bemadeatnochargetothecustomerforpartsorlabor,

providedthatthecustomershallberesponsibleforany

transportationcost.Thiswarrantydoesnotapplyto:(i)

cosmeticdamage,suchasscratches,nicksanddents;

(ii)consumableparts,suchasbatteries,unlessproduct

damagehasoccurredduetoadefectinmaterials

orworkmanship;(iii)damagecausedbyaccident,

abuse,misuse,water,ood,ﬁre,orotheractsofnature

orexternalcauses;(iv)damagecausedbyservice

performedbyanyonewhoisnotanauthorizedservice

providerofGarmin;(v)damagetoaproductthathas

beenmodiﬁedoralteredwithoutthewrittenpermission

ofGarmin;or(vi)damagetoaproductthathasbeen

connectedtopowerand/ordatacablesthatarenot

suppliedbyGarmin.Inaddition,Garminreservestheright

torefusewarrantyclaimsagainstproductsorservices

thatareobtainedand/orusedincontraventionofthelaws

ofanycountry.Thisproductisintendedtobeusedonly

asatravelaidandmustnotbeusedforanypurpose

requiringprecisemeasurementofdirection,distance,

locationortopography.Garminmakesnowarrantyasto

theaccuracyorcompletenessofmapdatainthisproduct.
