6. Reconnect cooling duct to the remote avionics enclosure inlet, securing the duct with the existing
hose clamp.
7. Re-install baggage compartment and reattach the seat belts.
4.13.4 GIA Fan Fail Annunciation Test
1. With the G1000 avionics system powered normally, open the AV FAN circuit breaker.
2. Verify an amber GIA FAN FAIL caution annunciation is posted to the PFD CAS window.
3. Press the CAUTION softkey.
4. Verify the PFD FAN FAIL and MFD FAN FAIL annunciations are acknowledged and are moved
down the CAS alert list.
5. Close the AV FAN circuit breaker.
6. Verify that the GIA FAN FAIL caution annunciation is removed from the PFD CAS window.
